What is the Farm Expo?

What began as a small local trade show over 45 years ago has now become widely recognized as one of the premier agricultural events in northeastern Montana.

As a testament to our unwavering dedication to the agricultural community, the farm expo extends a range of complimentary services. These include free parking, free admission to the farm show, and free access to our informative seminar programs.

Seminars

Our agricultural producers and consumers can be confident in the quality of our seminars, as they are led by experts in their respective fields. Our speakers and facilitators present a diverse array of subjects, including pulse crop cultivation, precision agriculture, estate planning, and insights into the upcoming crop season’s weather expectations.

Community outreach at the Farm Expo

Local organizations such as the Sheridan County Soil Conservation District and the Sheridan County Extension Office use the expo to interact with the community.

Commercial Displays

The products featured at the expo include a wide range of livestock-related equipment, supplies, and services, as well as combines, grain storage options, computer technology, and everything in between. Vendors, ranging from “mom and pop” companies to major manufacturers, present their line of products, showcasing the latest in agricultural technology and equipment to meet the needs of farms and ranches.

Youth Education

It's all about the community.

The Farm Expo is a place for our youth to learn about the importance of agriculture.

Past education has included Chicken Education, activity centers where they could milk a cow, pick apples, a bread fair which was hosted by the Sheridan County Extension Office where students learned about wheat and how to prepare a loaf of bread to take home, bake, and enjoy!

It's all about the community.

It's all about the community.
